Barack Obama comments on meeting with Putin

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. US President Barack Obama in a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to reach a progress over the implementation of Minsk agreements on Ukraine until the end of his tenure in January, 2017, “Armenpress” reports, Obama said at a press conference dedicated to the results of the APEC summit in Peru.

During the talk with Putin, Obama expressed concern on the airstrikes in Aleppo and called on reaching a humanitarian truce, later passing to the political settlement of the Syrian conflict.

Earlier Putin, commenting on the meeting with his US counterpart, thanked him for the years of joint work, as well as invited him to visit Russia anytime he founds it possible.
