YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS. Arthur Harutyunyan has been elected as President of the Ski Federation of Armenia during the Federation’s conference.

“Mr. Yeritsyan’s decision to leave was a big surprise for us. He mentioned that he has decided to vacate the post of the Federation’s President because of heavy workload in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It was him who proposed the candidacy of Vice-President Arthur Harutyunyan, who was unanimously elected as President. Taking into account the contribution to the Ski Sports, as well as great contribution to the development of the sports – Armen Yeritsyan was unanimously elected as President Emeritus of the Ski Federation”, Gagik Sargsyan, official of the federation told ARMENPRESS.

Arthur Harutyunyan is the Mayor of Tsakhkadzor, and for the past two years has served as Vice-President of the Ski Federation of Armenia.
