YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian companies willing to have access to the international market, will have a chance to understand what opportunities the London Stock Exchange has to offer.

Ayuna Nechaeva – head of Russia, CIS and Mongolia, Primary Markets at LSEG – arrived in Armenia within the framework of “International capital as a business growth engine” seminar, reports “Armenpress”.

She said she is going to present to the representatives of the Armenian companies the situation of the international capital in the Great Britain and Europe in general and the opportunities the London Stock Exchange can provide.

“In general, at this moment the level of involvement of the international capital is low in Europe and has negative trends, thus, the investors must make sure their investment portfolios work. They are always searching for interesting stories on which they can rely on and receive a profit. When I talk to investors, they tell me the region is not as important for them as the separate good company. They examine the growth, activity field, prospects, risks of that company. They attach an importance to company’s individual story. That’s why I am here first of all to talk to Armenian companies and present them what the London Stock Exchange can offer”, she said.

She added that the London Stock Exchange is not only for large, but also for small and emerging business. Ayuna Nechaeva said they don’t have assessments on the Armenian market, but they know well there are leading companies in the market operating in mining industry, financial and infrastructural sectors.
