YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. The European Commission has completed the expert assessments of risks and safety of Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP), “Armenpress” reports the EU delegation to Armenia informed.

The State Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee adjunct to the ANPP submitted a report on risks and safety of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant to the European Commission in August 2015 for an expert assessment.

“The expert assessment was conducted in Armenia on June 21-22, 2016. The expert group was comprised of 10 members:  Representatives of 8 EU member states included in the European nuclear safety regulatory group and two representatives of the European Commission”, reads the statement.
