More than 110 companies participate in Armenian-Czech business forum

YEREVAN, JUNE 8, ARMENPRESS. First Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Garegin Melkonyan says representatives of more than 26 Czech companies arrived in Armenia to participate in the Armenian-Czech business forum.

More than 85 Armenian companies take part in the forum. This is the third forum within 5 months of this year.

Garegin Melkonyan says the sides are interested to strengthen relations in trade and investment.

“The two Presidents aim to develop the economic relations, there are mutually beneficial projects that aim to strengthen the business ties between the two states. These issues are also widely being discussed within the framework of the intergovernmental commission”, “Armenpress” reports, Melkonyan stated.

He stated that several decisions were made within the intergovernmental commission which relate to a number of fields, including trade, industry, ecology, production.

“Such kinds of meetings enable us to present the Czech businessmen Armenia’s proposals of doing business. Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia’s neighborhood with Iran with which the sanctions were eliminated, Armenia’s rather liberal picture of legislative regulations create a great interest among the Czech businessmen”, the First Deputy Minister said.

Presidents of Armenia and the Czech Republic take part in the Armenian-Czech business forum.
