extending from Atlantic to Pacific

YEREVAN, MAY 20, ARMENPRESS. Strengthening cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union can become a key factor for the economic development of the entire continent, “Armenpress” reports Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov told during the expanded session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan. “We established the EAEU as an open economic union. At the same time we must put an emphasis on cooperation with states and unions with developed technologies and investment capacities. The long-term goal of EAEU-EU cooperation must be the creation of common economic zone extending from Atlantic to Pacific. This has been stated numerous times by the President of our country Nursultan Nazarbayev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin”, Karim Massimov said.

He reminded that assuming the chairmanship of the Union, Kazakhstan declared 2016 as the year of deepening cooperation with third countries and key integration unions.
