Czech entrepreneurs interested in cooperation with Armenia in energy sector
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 12, ARMENPRESS. The Armenia-EU relations were discussed in Yerevan on Friday as Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received a delegation led by Jan Mládek, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
“Armenpress” was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian government that praising Armenia’s continuing efforts to develop relations with the EU and the initiative negotiate a new cooperation agreement. Jan Mládek promised his country’s support to future mutual partnership and the procedures towards facilitating visas.
He mentioned 30 Czech entrepreneurs participate in the Czech-Armenian Conference in Yerevan. According to Czech official, they are interested in investment projects with Armenian partners, including the energy sector, particularly in the issue on supply of technical equipment necessary for service of the nuclear power plant in Armenia.
According to a press release by the Armenian-Government, the sides also addressed bilateral cooperation perspectives, especially in the economic sector, focusing, among other things, on issues of mutual interest.
PM Abrahamyan hailed the Czech Republic’s willingness to resume the negotiations over a bilateral agreement on boosting investments and ensuring mutual protection.
