YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS.  President of the National Assembly of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ashot Ghoulian received the President of the National Assembly of Armenia Galust Sahakyan on February 11.

Greeting the guest, Ashot Ghoulian expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between the legislatives of NKR and Armenia, highly appreciating the contribution of the head of Armenian parliament in that task.  The NKR NA President emphasized the interested attitude of the Armenian parliament towards their partners in relation to issues referring to Artsakh and proposed new cooperation directions.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the official website of NKR NA, thanking for cordial reception, Galust Sahakyan highlighted strengthening of inter-parliamentary relations and the necessity to apply new tools and formats.

The head of the Armenian parliament referred also to the situation on the front line, particularly, to the frequent ceasefire violations.

Afterwards, the meeting went on in an expanded format. The legislators of the two Armenian states discussed issues of exchange of experience in legislative initiatives, as well as a broad range of issues of regional developments. As a result of exchange of ideas, a list of urgent issues was outlined, which will be included in the agenda of the coming Armenia-NKR inter-parliamentary commission.
