Margarita Gasparyan wins in the 1st round of Petersburg Ladies Trophy tournament
14:50, 10 February 2016YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. Margarita Gasparyan defeated Bojana Jovanovski from Serbia in WTA - Singles, Petersburg Ladies Trophy tournament in Russia.
The match, which lasted less than an hour, ended with Gasparyan’s victory 6:1, 6:2. Serbian tennis player ranked 86th in the rankings, while Gasparyan – 43th.
Gasparyan will face more difficult opponent in the 2nd stage. Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanović, ranking 20th, will be her next opponent.
