New EEC Board is confirmed

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Supreme Eurasian Economic Council confirmed the new composition of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). “Armenpress” reports that Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan oversees the activities of the Board of the EEC and is responsible for the execution of its functions.

Member of the Board (Minister) for domestic markets, informatizaton, information and communication technologies Karine Minasyan supervises the following areas:

- Computerization, information and communication technology and information cooperation;

- The functioning of the internal market without barriers, exceptions and limitations.

Member of the Board (Minister) of Development ofIntegration and Macroeconomics TatianaValovaya oversees the following areas:

- Integration policies;

- Macroeconomic policies;

- The formation and dissemination of official statistical information of the Union

Member of the Board (Minister) for Economy and Financial Policy Timur Suleimenov oversees the following areas:

- The business environment;

- Financial markets;

- Taxes and taxation;

- Exchange rate policy;

- Transfer and distribution of import customs duties;

- Intellectual property;

- Labor migration;

- Services and investment

Member of the Board(Minister) for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex Sergei Sidorsky supervises the following areas:

- Industry;

- Agribusiness;

- Industrial and agricultural subsidies

Member of the Board (Minister) for Trade Veronika Nikishina supervises the following areas:

- Foreign trade policy;
