YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Delegation headed by head of the Department of Defense Policy of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia, Levon Ayvazyan visited the Republic of Greece on November 30 in the frames of military cooperation signed between Armenian Defense Ministry and Greece Republic’s National Defense Ministry. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed “Armenpress”, Levon Ayvazyan, during his visit, met with Director of Strategy and Policy Branch of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, Rear Admiral Ioannis Pavlopoulos and with Brigadier General Miltiadis Grillakis.

Issues related to the development and deepening of military cooperation between Armenia and Greece, to the situation in the region and other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meetings.

2016 military cooperation project between Armenian Defense Ministry and Hellenic National Defense Ministry was signed as the result of the visit.
