YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. The Government of the Republic of Armenia made an amendment to one of its early decisions and approved the exemplary work carried out by Public Council under the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. Justice Minister of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan noted that Public Council will present proposals and remarks related to more efficient implementation of Justice Ministry’s policy as well as reforms initiated by the Ministry.

“The Council will also discuss with public organizations or other interested entities the opinions and approaches of different social strata referring the realization of Ministry’s functions and challenges the Ministry faces,” “Armenpress” reports, Minister said.

PM of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan emphasized the importance of creating such Councils.

“In general, we must promote civil society’s active participation in all kinds of political, economic processes. I think that approach is the right one,” PM said.
