RF MFA advises Russians not to travel to Turkey

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Because of the threats of rising terrorism in Turkey RF MFA advises its citizens not to travel to that country. “Armenpress” reports, citing “Interfax”, RF foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov issued a statement about this.
“By our assessments critical expression of terrorism in Turkey does no way yield that of Egypt. In relation to that we advise our citizens to refrain from visiting the Republic of Turkey for tourism or any other proposes in this stage”, Lavrov told the journalists.
The Russian bomber was shot down over Syria by an air-to-air surface fired from a Turkish F-16 plane when the bomber was at an altitude of 6,000 meters at a distance of 1 km from the Turkishborder. The jet dropped 4 km away from the Turkish border.
According to President Putin, theSu-24 plane incident in is "a stab in Russia’s back” delivered by terrorist accomplices.
