Armenia - one of world’s safest countries: Global Terrorism Index 2015

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Global Terrorism Index 2015 published by the Institute for Economics and Peace in London rates Armenia as one of the safest countries in the world in terms of potential terrorist threats.

As “Armenpress” reports, Armenia is ranked 116th among 162 countries, where the first country is the most dangerous one.

Armenia’s neighbors in the region are placed as follows: Turkey – 27th, Iran – 39th, Georgia – 71th, Azerbaijan – 93rd. Russia is in the 23rd place and US – 35th.

The top ten of most dangerous countries looks like this: Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Syria, India, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Thailand.
