Armenian shares formed 15.1 billion within 10 months from EEU common customs duties

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. Armenian shares formed 15.1 billion from Eurasian Economic Union’s common customs duties within 10 months of this year. Deputy Ministerof Finance Armen Alaverdyan announced about the aforesaid in the National Asembly. “Eurasian Economic Union member countries are recruiting customs duties from third countries and sending them to common stock, and Armenia gets 1.13 percent of common customs duties. As this year, the imports from third countries were significantly decreased in Armenia and especially in Russia, and the total amount of fund was low hence our fund’s total amount would be low”, Alaverdyan emphasized, as “Armenpress” reports.

Chairmanof the NA'sEconomic Affairs Standing Committee, Republican MP Vardan Ayvazyan noticed that, however, Armenia’s share was very little. He emphasized that when there was discussed about joining EEU, in that case Armenia should have got 200 million dollar from customs duties.
