Armenian scientist drowns in Antalya

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12, ARMENPRESS. Famous scientist, physicist, resident of Russia Sargis Karamyan drowned in Kemer seaside resort of Antalya Province.

“Armenpress” reports the aforementioned referring to Turkish daily Sabah. The rescuers managed to pull out the drowning scientist to the coast but were unable to save his life.

75-year old Sargis Karamyan born in St. Petersburg, Russia was a distinguished researcher of Moscow Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (DUBNA). He was an author of a number of researches in physics and a laureate of many international awards.
