YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS. Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Haiti Lener Renauld on October 10. “Armenpress” was informed by the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of Armenia Foreign Ministry that Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia expressed gratitude for participation at Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) and stressed the unifying role of the OIF in linking peoples from different states and cultures. The Minister characterized the tour of the Haitian band, presenting Haiti's culture, in Yerevan during the Ministerial Conference as symbolic.

Thanking for the high-level of organization of the OIF Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and warm reception, Lener Renauld mentioned that he was glad to be in Armenia and discuss ways of the establishment of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the Ministers discussed possibilities of the formation of legal framework between states, establishment of collaboration within international organizations. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Haiti expressed his gratitude to Armenia and the Armenian rescue team, who expressed readiness to lend a hand of support to Haiti's citizens, who suffered the destructive and tragic earthquake in the winter of 2010.
