Blatter, Platini and Valcke were banned for 9o days

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS. FIFA president  Sepp Blatter, UEFA chief Michel Platini  and FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke were provisionally suspended for 90 days. As “Armenpress” reports, TASS wrote about this. According to preliminary information, the committee said the ban could be extended but by no more than 45 days.

"The grounds for these decisions are the investigations that are being carried out by the investigatory chamber of the ethics committee," the committee said in a statement.

The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) of Switzerland opened criminal proceedings against FIFA President Joseph Blatter in late September "on suspicion of criminal mismanagement as well as - alternatively - on suspicion of misappropriation."

Blatter is suspected of a disloyal payment of 2 million Swiss francs to Platini in February 2011, the OAG said.
