YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS.  The representatives of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs finished their familiarization visit to Bundestag on September 11. As “Armenpress” reports, NA “Zharangutyun” faction secretary Tevan Poghosyan wrote on his Facebook page, that they got acquainted with Parliamentary oversight issues and opportunities.”We often hear that the authors investigated the German model connected with the package of reforms in Armenia. I hardly imagine how they have investigated and have not noticed such high oversight capabilities which exist here in Germany. It is very important to realize how Bundestag “restrains” the government with budget. It is not perceived in our state yet”, MP wrote.

He also noticed that the discussions were held open and free, and there was an occasion to introduce the German high-ranking officials the positions of the Republic of Armenia over the Karabakh problem and a number of its specific features.
