Warlick condemns "deliberate targetting of innocent civilians"
YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. U.S. Co-Chair of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group James Warlick condemned targetting of innocent civilians. “Armenpress” reports that James Warlick made a statement on his Twitter page.
“We condemn the deliberate targetting of innocent civilians in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We stand for a negotiated settlement.
On September 2-3 the Azerbaijani side kept the entire border line of Tavush Province under fire shooting in the direction of several villages simultaneously. As a result of September 3 shootings there civilians of the village of Paravaqar sustained shrapnel bodily injuries and were taken to a medical center. Two more civilians were injured on September 2. Contract soldier Hayk Tevoyan was killed.
