Government to submit draft Constitution to Legislative body after discussions with National 
Assembly factions

YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS. The Government of the Republic of Armenia approved the draft of suggestions of the Government related to the draft of Constitutional Reforms. Acting first Deputy Minister of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan noted that the draft includes the positions of republican executive bodies and other state administrative bodies referring Constitutional Reforms.

“The suggestions are addressed to legal certainty, content clarifications, and specifications in terms of a more precise interpretation. The opinions on the draft are being summarized and are in the phase of being restructured.”, “Armenpress” reports, Arsen Mkrtchyan noted.

Republic of Armenia PM Hovik Abrahamyan noted that he had been discussing the suggestions on the draft with Republic of Armenia Vice Prime Minister, Republic of Armenia Minister - Chief of Staff and Justice Minister for over six hours.

“I have made an arrangement with the President of the Republic of Armenia today, I suggest, Mr. Harutyunyan, to hold discussions with the National Assembly which will also be attended by Ministers and heads of state agencies, we’ll try to reach an agreement after which I’ll sign the draft and we’ll submit it to the National Assembly. ”, said Hovik Abrahamyan.
