YEREVAN, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS. According to operative data of the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army, ceasefire regime has been violated nearly 950 times by the rival on the contact line of Karabakh-Azerbaijan opposing armies during August 23-29. Over 17.500 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian border protecting units from different caliber weapons, including 60, 82, and 120 mm mortars and RPG-7 grenade launchers.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the NKR Defense Army, in the given period the rival used also Turkish made TP-107 reactive rocket launcher. In addition to the abovementioned ceasefire violations, the rival attempted to make subversive actions in the eastern direction of the contact line between Karabakh-Azerbaijan opposing armies at 01:40 on August 28. Defense Army front line units documented the advancement of Azerbaijani armed forces special unit composed of 20-25 people. The enemy was repelled causing casualties to the Azerbaijani side
