Armenia open for close cooperation with UNICEF in elaboration of new projects

YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMERNPRESS. On August 27, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, received Tanja Radocaj, representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Armenia.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated the activities of the Fund in Armenia lasting over two decades, mentioning that during these years the Yerevan office of the Fund established productive cooperation with the Government of Armenia, state and public institutions which fosters effective implementation of different projects for children.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and high appreciation of the activities of the UNICEF, Tanja Radocaj hoped that projects elaborated together with the Armenian Government will continue to be successfully implemented which will promote the protection of children's rights and improve their health and education quality.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Minister Nalabandian reconfirmed the readiness of the Armenian MFA to cooperate closely with the UNICEF in order to ensure continuation of the projects and elaboration of new ones.
