Weightlifters Hamlet Mnatsakanyan and Armen Grigoryan become Europe Champions
10:21, 4 August 2015YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. Hamlet Mnatsakanyan (50 kg) became a champion in U15&U17 Euroepan Weightlifting Championships - taking place in Landskrona, Sweden. Armenpress reports that the athlete from Gyumri lifted 189 kg in the two competition lifts.
In the U15&U17 Euroepan Weightlifting Championship the Armenian weightlifters were lucky. The title of the champion was won by Armen Grigoryan from Kasakh with the result of (87+117) 211kg in total. Rafik Harutyunyan from Gyumri won a silver medal with the result of 204 kg in total (87+117).
