YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS. Brazilian soccer superstar Neymar, who plays for Spanish club FC Barcelona and the Brazil national team, wants to play in the Rio 2016 Olympics. As Armenpress reports, citing the website “Goal”, Brazilian soccer superstar Neymar has told his club team, Barcelona, that he wants to play in the Rio 2016 Olympics next summer. He also said that he would not like to miss a single match of his national team. Neymar has a great desire to become an Olympic champion making his compatriots happy. 

The 2016 Summer Olympics are commonly known as Rio 2016, as this competition will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The games will take place from 5 August to 21 August 2016 and more than 10,500 athletes from 205 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) will take part in this sporting event. The games will feature 28 sports — including rugby sevens and golf, which were added by the International Olympic Committee in 2009.These sporting events will take place across 33 venues spread across 4 regions of the city namely - Barra, Copacabana, Deodoro, and Maracanã.
