YEREVAN, JULY 25, ARMENPRESS: His Holiness Aram I received the President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan. The meeting of Aram I and Gagik Tsarukyan was attended as well by the leaders of Dioceses of Lebanon and Aleppo and the representatives of the National Central Committee and the national authorities.

Armenpress was informed from the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia that during the one-hour meeting His Holiness welcomed the visit of the President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia. Aram I stated that he considers the Armenia-Diaspora ties in a comprehensive integrity, becoming a participant of the pan-Armenian mission of strengthening of Armenia, as he believes that the strengthening of Armenia is the strengthening of the Diaspora as well.
