YEREVAN, JULY 17, ARMENPRESS: Taking into account increasing interest in football as well as with the aim of spreading healthy lifestyle among children and providing active recreation in yard areas in 2015 the number of football grounds will be increased by 12, all by one in each administrative district.

The press service of the Yerevan Municipality informed Armenpress that the program is implemented within the frames of building and improvement programs of Yerevan Municipality. The location of the mini-football grounds is selected jointly with the administrative districts taking into consideration population density and the possibility of such a construction from the point of view of urban development.

Mini-football grounds are put into operation completely furnished, provided with lighting systems and the surrounding areas improved, and in some cases equipped with small stands.
