YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. The torch lit in the Cathedral of Antelias by the blessing of Aram I Catholicos and symbolizing the Diaspora is in Egypt.

The oldest and traditional community of the Diaspora has always differed from others by its unity and unified power. It did not break the tradition this time and unified around the ideology of unity. The Diaspora torch of the 6^th summer pan-Armenian games reached Cairo after running through the Middle East.

Armen Melqonyan, the  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia in Egypt, Bagrat Burnazyan, the Secretary General of the word committee of the pan-Armenian games, other representatives of the Armenian community and members of traditional parties met the torch of the 6^th pan-Armenian games in the oldest capital of the Middle East, Cairo.

Ambassador Armen Melqonyan considered the pan-Armenian games as the best option to show the world the unity of all Armenians. “The pan-Armenian games are particularly a means to appear full of demands during the ceremonies of the 100^thanniversary, to show the winning sort of the Armenians”, said Melqonyan.
