armeniangenocide100.org was blocked due to Turkey's state policy

YEREVAN, 26 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. Access towww.armeniangenocide100.org, created ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, has been illegally blocked by several Internet Service Providers in Turkey. In particular, the Turkish TTnet provider has blocked access to the website for its users without any warning and a court decision. This is what speaker of the “Say No To Racism and Discrimination” (DurDe) Organization Levent Şensever in an interview with “Armenpress”.

“TTnet is likely to be censuring due to Turkey’s state policy of denial of the Armenian Genocide. This block is definitely an illegal act violating freedom of speech and access to information. As representatives of the DurDe platform that has always been against the Turkish government’s policies aimed at denying the Armenian Genocide, we are also against such censure and the violation of the right to access to information. As the fundamental principles of democracy dictate, we demand an end to such censure,” Şensever said.
