Armenian chess player half a point behind leader

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: All the eight Armenian chess players took victories in the seventh round of the open in Al Ain, UAE. The grand master Tigran L. Petrosian has scored 5,5 points after seven rounds and is only half a point behind the leader - GM Gaioz Nigalidze (Georgia).
Armenpress reports, citing the Armenian Chess Federation that the grand masters Levon Babujian and Arman Pashikian each have 5, the grand masters Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, Hovik Hayrapetyan and the international master Manuel Petrosyan each - 4,5, WGM Maria Kursova - 4, WGM Lilit Galojan – 3,5 points.
Today in the central game of the penultimate eighth round Tigran L. Petrosian will play with whites against the leader - Gaioz Nigalidze.
