New Year’s event organized for Armenian children in Damascus

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: The Avedis Aharonian Center in the Bab Tuma Christian district of Damascus hosted a New Year’s event for Armenian children, as reported on Perio News Facebook page, Armenpress informs.
The festive event was organized by the Erebuni Chapter of the Syrian Relief Cross in Damascus in order to help children get away from the difficulties of war and lift their spirits for a couple of hours.
The event brought together dozens of people, including many children. The children became more excited when they saw Santa Claus, who was greeted with songs and dances. The event was followed by a banquet.
New Year’s events are being held for children in different parts of Syria, including Aleppo, Latakia, Kessab, Damascus and elsewhere.
