Earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan met with the representatives of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank on December 17. At the session of the Government the PM stated that the international partners fully support the Government and the Central Bank in their efforts to stabilize the financial market. “Yesterday, from the second half of the day and today as well, we observe stabilization of the market, which, I am certain, will continue. Though we are concerned over the obvious rise in prices for sugar, flour and other products of wide consumption, as well as the considerable purchase and sale margin in the currency exchange units.
