YEREVAN, 15 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On December 15, Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received Microsoft Corporation’s Regional Director for Public Safety/National Security/Defense Robert Kosla. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, greeting Mr. Kosla, Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan mentioned that only through combined efforts will it be possible to overcome the current challenges in information security. The minister attached importance to the expansion of circles of cooperation in cyber security and information technologies and the exchange of experiences with a leading company like the Microsoft Corporation.

The sides also touched upon the possibility of organizing training and qualification courses for the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia at Microsoft Corporation’s training centers.
