Armenia's Government changes draft budget 2015

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS: The Republican Party of Armenia, Dashnaktsutyun and Heritage Parties made 367 proposals to make amendments to the draft state budget 2015 of the Republic of Armenia, which envisaged expenses of 163 billion drams. At the session of the Government, the Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia Pavel Safaryan stated that the proposals refer to different sectors, like economy, resettlement plan of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, etc. In the result of the discussions 45 proposals were considered acceptable and the others were given clarifications.
“Thus, amendments have been made to the draft budget. Additional expenditure programs for 13,5 billion drams were adopted, related to the events devoted to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, the construction of the North-South Highway, the support to the frontier communities, etc. The revenues of the budget of 2015 have increased by 7 billion drams and the expenditures have reduced by 6 billion”, - said Pavel Safaryan, Armenpress reports.
