Armenian and Greek businessmen strengthen relations

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS: An Armenian-Greek business forum will take place in Yerevan, attended by the Presidents of the Republic of Armenia and Greece, Serzh Sargsyan and Karolos Papoulias. The Greek and Armenian businessmen will discuss the prospects for the further expansion of the cooperation and the conditions for market activities of mutual interest.   
Armenpress reports that the economic and commercial relations between Armenia and Greece have started since 1992. At present the trade turnover between the two countries makes more than 20 million US dollars annually. Armenia exports to Greece mainly electrical machinery and equipment, aluminum and aluminum products, food.
The main goods of import are as follows: mineral fuels, oil and oil products, bituminous materials, wax, electrical machinery and equipment, recording devices and spare parts, tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes, fruits and nuts, citrus crops, goods from black metals, aluminum and aluminum products, plastics, furniture , bedding, boilers, machinery and mechanical parts.
On September 30 at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Armenia the ceremony of signing documents is expected, directed to the strengthening and deepening of the Armenian-Greek relations.
