YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS: Events dedicated to Armenian Genocide Centennial launched in Canada with the concert of the well-known Molinari Quartet held September 13 at Pollack Hallof McGill University.
Armenian Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan delivered an opening speech, Press Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia told Armenpress. In his address Armen Yeganyan highlighted the importance of recognition of the Armenian Genocide as a necessary condition for prevention of crimes against humanity.
Works by Aram Khachaturian, Tigran Mansuryan, Levon Chavushyan and Jivan Ter-Tadevosyan were performed.
