YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian national football team on September 2 held a pre-game training in Skonto Stadium. Before the training the chief coach of the Armenian team Bernard Challandes held a press conference. “This is a great opportunity for us to play another friendly game and check for the team’s state. I am happy to be here again. Concerning the second team, I would rather say no, there is no sense to play with the second team. We may change some seven footballers after the first half but I want to see in what condition the players are and this game is quite important in that sense. It is also very important for the footballers, who have less playing practice. We have an official game and will play with a good team”, - said Challandes.

Armenpress reports, citing the official website of the Football Federation of Armenia that concerning the Latvian national team, the chief coach of the Armenian team emphasized: “I watched the last two games with Estonia and Lithuania. I studied the players and I can say that it is a good team. Certainly, it is not Germany though we are as well not Argentina or Holland, which means that this game is a good experiment for us”.

Bernard Challandes added: “We should play more aggressively. It is very important that the instructions of the coach are accurately fulfilled by the players. I am just a coach, I do not play and the team should live on the field with this idea of being “mad”.

The Armenian national football team will play a friendly game with the Latvian team on September 3. The match will take place in Riga at 21:45 Yerevan time.
