YEREVAN, AUGUST 14, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan has received Karen R. Hilliard, the USAID Mission Director to Armenia, Jeffrey Paretchan, Deputy Director of the Economic Growth Office of USAID/Armenia and Diana Avetian, Project Management Specialist. As "Armenpress" was informed from the Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Culture, in the course of the meeting USAID Mission Director Karen Hilliard introduced the current projects implemented in Armenia by the Agency. She noted that predominantly they work in economic development, which includes the fields of information technologies, adding that they have predetermined two other spheres having long-term development potential: agriculture and tourism.
