YEREVAN, MAY 19, ARMENPRESS. The Government of the Republic of Armenia will continue the work connected with the construction of the new energy block of the nuclear power station, whose construction will start in 2018. This is listed in the program of the new Government for 2014-2017, which was approved on May 19 at the special session of the executive body.

As reports “Armenpress”, in the energy sector the policy of the Government will be aimed at increasing the level of energy safety, legislative incentives for the implementation of new and high technologies, policy for renewable energy development, including the existing hydro-potential, expanding the use of solar and wind energy and raising the efficiency.
