Serzh Sargsyan meets Prime Minister of Czech Republic in Prague

YEREVAN, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS. On the last day of his official visit to the Czech Republic the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan   held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the country Bohuslav Sobotka.

“Armenpress” was informed from the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s office of the Republic of Armenia that at the beginning of the meeting Serzh Sargsyan   first congratulated Mr. Sobotka on the occasion of his appointment as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and forming a new government, wishing him success.

The sides circumstantially reacted on the opportunities of Armenian-Czech economic development, prospective sectors, advantages of business and investment environment and issues in the two countries.  The President of the Republic of Armenia and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic attached great importance to the contacts among business communities in the deepening of trade-economic relations. In that context the interlocutors pointed out  with satisfaction the Armenian- Czech business forum held in Prague today, agreements signed at the course of the Armenian President’s visit over regulating the economic sector, which, according to the sides, are basis for developing efficient cooperation in many sectors.

President Serzh Sargsyan   also held a meeting with the Armenia community in the Czech Republic.
