Central Bank adopts inflation targeting policy

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS: The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia adopted an inflation targeting policy. The President of the Central Bank Arthur Javadyan stated about it at the discussion of the state budget 2014 held at the National Assembly of Armenia. “Up to now the financial aggregates were presented by us mainly having a statistical nature. With the inflation targeting policy our aim will become to prolong or limit the inflation”, - stated Javadyan.

Armenpress reports that the abovementioned policy has been adopted by many Armenia’s partner countries and it gives positive results.
