YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Army performs its tasks in an appropriate manner, notwithstanding high tempos of development are necessary in the current geopolitical situation. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan stated this at the course of the event dedicated to the World Youth Day held in the Administrative Complex of the Defense Ministry. Among other things the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan highlighted three elements of the state’s military strength – economy, army, and military patriotic education of the population.

As reports “Armenpress” the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan touched upon the qualitative advantage of the Armenian Army and emphasized that we have competitive Armed Forces in the region, which accomplish their mission in an appropriate manner.

“Notwithstanding, in my opinion all of this is not enough for us taking into consideration the current geopolitical situation. We need relevant conditions to safeguard flying development,” Seyran Ohanyan noted.
