Turkey destroys Armenian houses hopeful to find gold

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. The Turkish authorities gave green light to the destruction of the Armenians’ houses for the search of treasures in the Orhangazi Province of Bursa. “Armenpress” reports about this citing Turkish Haberler.com. The Committee on Monuments established a special commission for launching legal excavations in the Armenian house.

Tourhan Kayabey, who is responsible for the excavations, stated that it is considered that the activities will last one month. Among other things Tourhan Kayabey underscored that about 100 km territory is required to start the excavations.
