Armenian nuclear power station withdrawn from energy production network

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian nuclear power station has been withdrawn from the energy production network at 01:20 on September 22 for the organization of the events on recharge, annual planned restoration, as well as for increasing the level of safety. As Armenpress was reported by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, the works will last for 54 days. The nuclear power station is intended to be connected to the energy production network on November 16.

The Armenian nuclear power station functions stably and safely and in the future as well it will be the reliable source of electricity for Armenia. Since 2003 the energy production technology has been updated constantly.
