Authentic Light Orchestra performed for the first time in Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS: Armenian-Austrian-Swiss ethno-jazz Authentic Light Orchestra group on September 18 performed in the State AcademicOpera and Ballet TheaterofArmenia after Alexander Spendiaryan. The jazz band performed with symphonic orchestra of Opera Theater. At the event took part Armenian jazzmen Armen Hiusunch, Vahan Artsruni, Mikael Voskanyan and other musicians.

“Such concert has never taken place in Armenia: at first with Authentic Light Orchestra performed symphonic orchestra of Opera Theater. The special guests of the evening were exclusive musicians. Besides singer arrived from Switzerland Veronica Stalder during the evening performed four Armenian songs. It was very responsible to perform in Armenia for the first time. All members of Authentic Light Orchestra are admired with Armenia and want to be her again,” mentioned founder of the group Valeri Tolstov, reports “Armenpress”.

“I liked your country from the first sight. People are very good here. I was very confused before the concert as I performed for the first time with the orchestra. I am fond of performing Armenian songs. I heard them several years ago and was shocked,” mentioned Veronica Stalder.

Authentic Light Orchestra is an original band which was founded in 2009 in Zurich. It includes 5 musicians but it looks like orchestra due to instrumental diversity. During a concert the musicians use 15-30 instruments and even more. Authentic Light Orchestra likes to perform with improvisations. In the group is included Alexander Grigoryan.
