YEREVAN, JULY 8, ARMENPRESS: Famous Turkish initiative “Say no to discrimination and nationalism implemented discussions “Why Armenian genocide is still in agenda in parallel of 100^th anniversary”. “Armenpress” reports calling Turkish Taraf magazine that during the first day of the discussion with a speech performed lecturer of Clark University of USA Umit Kurt.

“If you want to understand the motives of implementation of the genocide you should not forget the economic motive against property owned by non Muslims especially by Armenians. Of course it is a period of creation of Turk-Muslim bourgeoisie class. It means that we speak about a process of formation of national country and national bourgeoisie,” mentioned Umit Kurt insisting that when implementing Armenian genocide important reason was the wish to seize the property of Armenians.

Turkish “Say no to discrimination and nationalism” initiative is famous for implementation of events directed to recognition of Armenian genocide by Turkish government. During recent years it actively participates in events dedicated to the memory of Armenian genocide victims.
