Armenian students to be involved in IBM's research program

YEREVAN, JUNE 20, ARMENPRESS. The issue of involvement of the Armenian students in IBM's research program is under discussion. The General Director of Armenian Development Agency Robert Harutyunyan stated this in a conversation with "Armenpress". Also the General Director underscored: "We have already developed the project of memorandum on mutual understanding jointly with IBM. The document introduces the directions and priorities of the cooperation with the technological giant. Currently, the model of establishing Competence Centre of IBM in Armenia is in the stage of development. The model will represent the participation of both sides in the program. At the same time, IBM has introduced a program on the student's involvement in the research programs and presently we are discussing the mechanisms of the involvement of students from the Armenian higher educational institutions in the aforesaid program."

Among other things Robert Harutyunyan noted that the representatives of the Oracle company are considering paying a visit to Armenia for the discussion of issues regarding the memorandum on mutual understanding and directions of future cooperation. Furthermore, currently Google is discussing the possibility of organizing a visit of company's representatives to Armenia.
