The Chess Federation of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that Armenian Chess Grand Masters Tigran Gharamian and Elina Danilelian have scored 2 points each after 2 rounds at the open that is being held in Cappelle la Grande, France. They are leading together with a group of other chess players. The tournament launched on February 23 and will last until March 2.

Armenian chess players Armine Babayan and Sargis V. Manukyan have scored 5 points each after 7 rounds at the open that is being held in Mashhad, Iran.

The leader of the tournament with 6,5 points is Omid Noroozi (Iran).
