YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS: Presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan handed the open letter on having joint candidate to Andrias Ghukasyan, candidate who had gone to hunger strike. Armenpress reports, he visited Andrias Ghukasyan who went on hunger strike from January 21 with a poster “Stop fake elections”.

Paruyr Hayrikyan connects his decision whether to postpone elections for 14 days or not with the results of possible discussion between Raffi Hovhannisyan and Hrant Bagratyan over having a single opposition candidate. This was noted by Hayrikyan in his open letter addressed to the candidates and published on his Facebook page. Hayrikyan, referring to anonym “accurate surveys” informs that 3 opposition candidates may jointly claim for victory.    

Pre-election headquarters of presidential candidates of Armenia Raffi Hovhannisyan and Hrant Bagratyan refuse commenting on the suggestion.
