19:18, 19 September 2012YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Ministry of Defense hosted Russian Minister of Defense Anatoliy Serdyukov on September 19.
As Armenpress reports Minister of Defense of Armenian Republic Seyran Ohanyan greeted the visit of his colleague to Armenia which, according to the minister, will give a renewed impetus to the Armenian-Russian cooperation. "It is a renewed impetus for the strengthening of bilateral relations" noted Seyran Ohanyan.
Minister informed that issues concerning the regional and international security, bilateral cooperation as well as legal issues of Russian 102nd base had been discussed during the meeting. Referring to CSTO exercises Seyran Ohanyan highlighted that they were at a high level and that soldiers carried out the given task.
Russian Minister of Defense Anatoliy Serdyukov expressed his gratitude for warm reception mentioning that soldiers performed their task at a high level during CSTO military exercises.
Serdyukov highlighted that the bilateral cooperation is up to par.
